RIDING IN THE RAIN

By Debbie Bulloch

Today, as predicted by the National Weather Service, turned out to be a very rainy day. Rain has been falling for most of the day - very heavy at times.

While rain is great for farmers, it is not so great for bike riders (or for birds). I was able to ride for only a few miles before the heavy rain and wind forced me to turn around. I was soaked to the bone, but happy that I was able to at least ride for a few miles (10 miles).

The birds in the following photographs were not as fortunate, however. Most of them had to be content with just passing the day on the ground, waiting for the weather to clear up.

Nice pictures Deb. I thought you hated to ride in the rain. What happened to make you change your mind?
