SILVER MOON AND BURNT-RED SUNSET

By Debbie Bulloch

In the past few days, Southern Californians have been treated to the sight of some magnificent night skies – beautiful sunsets and silvery moons are Mother Nature’s gifts after a days of punishing storms.

Please join me in enjoying the sights and sounds of a lovely California evening.

OMG, totally awesome shots of the moon. Yesterday (Jan. 29) the moon was closest to the Earth than it will be any time for the rest of the year. It was also what the Native Americans call a "wolf moon." Also, great shots of the sunset sky. Awesome photography.

Are the shots of the moon handheld or do you use a tripod. If you use a tripod, are you using a cable release? It would be nice if you could post the tech info for these pictures. Thanks for sharing.

Great pictures Debbie. I love the moonshots. Also great musical choices. CC&R was a great band, I loved listening to them when I was in school.
