MONDAY NIGHT MUSIC - THE SOUND OF SILENCE

By Debbie Bulloch

In a recent comment, a reader asked me if the songs that I post here are addressed to anyone person in particular or if they have any special meaning attached to them.

The answer is both YES and NO.

Recent events, however, have brought this song to mind - especially the words at 1:52 minutes into the song.

So I was right, your music selection is "sometimes" intended to send a message. The problem, dear Debbie, is that your intended audience is either not reading your posts or if he/she is reading the posts, he/she is not getting the message. Am I right? In either event, perhaps a more direct route is the better alternative. Think about it!

Silence does grow like a cancer. But it takes two to talk. If one person isn't talking, then all you have is a monologue. Like the other reader wrote, you need a more direct approach. If the other person is not responding, then move on Debbie. (Sorry if I am getting too personal here, you have a lot to offer and you shouldn't waste time on monologues.)
