NEVER CAN SAY GOODBYE – AGAIN

By Debbie Bulloch

As you may recall, yesterday afternoon I posted two versions of the hit song, NEVER CAN SAY GOODBYE. One version was sung by Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5. The other version, included here at Buc’s request, was the ever-smooth, ever-soulful version sung by Isaac Hayes.

Well ladies and gentlemen, it is now clear that the producers of The Tonight Show are avid fans of the Between Homes © blog. Yes, they not only read our blog, but are also inspired by it - and I have the proof.

Yesterday evening actor Will Ferrell was Conan O’Brien’s first guest in the opening show of “The Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien.” During the opening of the show, in a moment clearly inspired by reading our blog, Will Ferrell serenaded O’Brien with his very own version of…

…yes you guesses it: NEVER CAN SAY GOODBYE!

Here is Will Ferrell singing NEVER CAN SAY GOODBYE to Conan O’Brien (at 1:05 minutes into the clip):

Now that we have “proof” that The Tonight Show looks to our blog for inspiration the future is wide open.

I told you before, hang around with me and we will “go places.” (Just what THOSE places might be I am not exactly sure at the moment.)

That's a funny bit, Ferrell singing Never Can Say Goodbye to O'Brien. I guess they do "copy" your blog. Well, Ferrell is a Trojan, so he probably likes to read your blog to read about USC, or to see the SC flag flying in some pictures. Funny stuff!
