WEDNESDAY’S FEEL GOOD STORY: ARCHIE THE NEWFIE

By Debbie Bulloch

Not every news story is a story about something bad happening to good people and not every story has a sad ending.

The following is a story about something good happening to a big hearted Newfie and to the children who depend on him; this is a story with a very happy ending.

ARCHIE is a Newfie “therapy dog.” He works at Casa Pacifica helping troubled children get much needed love and acceptance.

Yesterday, the Ventura County Board of Supervisors (the managing government for the County of ) recognized all the good work that Archie performs on behalf of children by declaring Monday ”Archie Day”

Here is a picture of Archie – the big, handsome and very loveable Newfie.

Sherlock and Holmes, the two Between Homes Newfies (and all the other VKC pups) join me in saying:

CONGRATS ARCHIE – YOU’RE THE BEST!
